Meet Violetta

In the journey of my nursing career, I embarked on a transformative path fueled by a passion for change and compassion. Starting with my education at UCCS and then transferring to KU, I ventured to Lawrence, Kansas, leaving behind the comfort of friends and family to embrace a new beginning. Completing nursing school through an accelerated program at MidAmerica Nazarene was a challenging yet rewarding experience that laid the foundation for my future. My first role in the emergency department ignited my determination, guiding me through three intense years of emergency care. However, it was as an RN case manager in hospice that I discovered my true calling, providing empathetic support during life's most vulnerable moments. This experience not only shaped my professional identity but also instilled in me the importance of cherishing every fleeting moment, inspiring me to advocate for better end-of-life care. After receiving my death doula training from IAP college, I set forth on building a business to provide one on one care that could fully meet the needs of people in this transitional time of life.

My Nursing Career

My Approach to my Work

In the journey of life, we often avoid conversations about its natural conclusion. Yet, what I’ve learned from my years in the ER and hospice is that these conversations, while tender, can be profoundly empowering and crucial. Planning ahead isn’t only for those in their final days. It’s for anyone who wants to live with peace of mind, knowing that their values and wishes will be honored no matter what the future holds.

My mission is to create a safe and compassionate space where you can reflect on what matters most. How you wish to be cared for, what legacy you want to leave, and how to prepare your loved ones so they aren’t left with the burden of last-minute decisions. Early planning can lift a tremendous weight off families, fostering unity instead of uncertainty.

As a Registered Nurse, I bring not only medical insight into how health and diagnoses may progress, but also a grounded presence and advocacy to ensure your voice is heard. Whether you are in good health, navigating a new diagnosis, or supporting a loved one, my role is to guide, educate, and walk alongside you.

Together, we can embrace life’s fragility not with fear, but with clarity, compassion, and a sense of preparedness that allows you and your family to focus on what matters most: living fully, loving deeply, and being present with one another.
